Todd Boehly praises the stadiums of Arsenal and Tottenham
Boehly and Behdad Eghbali have disagreed on a number of key areas during their time in charge, and this has included what is best to do with the club’s home stadium.
Boehly has been keen to see Chelsea move away from Stamford Bridge, and speaking at SXSW London he referenced the stadiums of Arsenal and Tottenham as positives for their clubs.

As per Kieran Gill, he said: “You look at the stadiums here, and they’re structures that don’t have the entertainment elements. We’re starting to see that change.
“Tottenham built a great stadium, they’ve got a lot of activity there. Arsenal have a good stadium. There’s going to be more and more stadium development.”
The Blues have discussed moving to Earl’s Court as well as a host of other venues, but even if an agreement was reached tomorrow there would still be a number of years to wait before the new stadium was ready.

The limited capacity of Stamford Bridge is clearly having an effect on Chelsea’s finances. They earn far less in matchday revenue than their big six rivals.
This, alongside factors such as no European football next season, have put them in a precarious financial situation ahead of the upcoming campaign.
A number of big name players are being linked with an exit this summer including Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella, with there some suggesting they will need to be balancing the books this summer.
