Tony Cascarino has one huge concern about Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo ahead of his move to Chelsea.
Chelsea have beaten Newcastle United in the race for Tosin Adarabioyo, with Fabrizio Romano recently sharing how.
The central defender will be joining the Blues on a free transfer, so he could end up being a bargain.
He has Premier League experience and is great in the air at 6ft 5in.
However, Cascarino has a warning for his former club about him.

Tony Cascarino’s main concern about Tosin Adarabioyo ahead of Chelsea transfer
After watching him play at Fulham this season, Cascarino has doubts about a particular area of Adarabioyo’s game.
Speaking about the 26-year-old on talkSPORT, he said: “Great aerially, really good. I mean, you would expect it. He is 6ft 4in, 6ft 5in, very dominant in that area.
“Still not convinced when he is on the ball, with making mistakes.
“I have seen him do that a few times for Fulham over the season. Chelsea are just looking at it as a free transfer and they do need bodies in that because [Levi] Colwill was injured as well during the season, [Wesley] Fofana whole year, they do need cover or someone to step in and play.”
Tosin Adarabioyo still worth a punt
Even if Adarabioyo does make mistakes on the ball, he still looks worth a go if you are Chelsea.
He is going to cost nothing, while the club may feel that they need a new centre-half after Thiago Silva’s exit.
As well as that, the Fulham star does have some strengths, such as his aerial ability.
As per FBref, Adarabioyo has ranked in the 88th percentile for aerials won among centre-backs over the last year.
If Trevoh Chalobah was definitely staying, then perhaps Adarabioyo would not be needed. But the 24-year-old could be sold this summer amid links to Manchester United.
Chalobah following Silva out of the exit door, then, would make room for the arrival of another central defender if there is not enough already.
Wesley Fofana’s injury record remains a concern. Another serious injury next season, and Chelsea could be left with just Benoit Badiashile, Colwill and Axel Disasi if they do not go on to sign Adarabioyo.
