Former Chelsea striker, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, admitted that Mason Mount occasionally forces his talents too hard upon Thomas Tuchel.
Speaking live on Sky Sports, Hasselbaink had Mount on his mind after the midfielder had just been named the Blues player of the year.
There were very few complaints about the 22-year-old collecting this award, both from within Chelsea’s camp and outside it.

Mount has been a consistent figure throughout the campaign, scoring vital goals and putting in regular picturesque performances.
He even captained the side during an FA Cup tie against Luton Town, an iconic moment for a player who grew up supporting Chelsea.
However, Hasselbaink wanted to highlight one minor negative aspect of the England international’s glistening repertoire.
“Sometimes he’s (Mount) too eager,” said the ex-Blues frontman.
“He wants to show too much. Especially at the beginning when Tuchel came in.
“He wanted to really show what he was about. But when you strip his game down, I think he has been one of the best young players, with (Phil) Foden, this year.”

Perhaps Mount could be spared for wanting to over impress Tuchel when he first arrived at Stamford Bridge.
After all, every Chelsea star was fighting for their place in the team, no matter how important they had been to Frank Lampard.
The German coach wiped all slates clean, offering fresh beginnings to those who had been frozen out by the previous manager.
In a surprising turn of events, Mount was one of those left out by Tuchel for his maiden match in charge.
That perceived error was quickly rectified and the young maestro returned to his usual post within Chelsea’s setup.
