Phil Foden has claimed in post-match interview that Marcus Rashford is one of the ‘top three’ strikers of a ball in the world.
The England striker has been linked with a stunning move to Chelsea after Thomas Tuchel recommended him to the club during the summer transfer window.
The Manchester United man was afforded his chance from the start in a new-look England attack last night against Wales last night.
He certainly grasped that opportunity, scoring twice in the second half as the Three Lions cruised to a 3-0 win.
This will now see Gareth Southgate given a massive headache over whether to start Raheem Sterling again after resting him last night.
Another player who took his chance to perform was Foden, scoring the second in the eventual rout against their close rivals.

In his post-match interview, the Manchester City man was extremely complimentary of his international teammate, claiming there is a sense of inevitability when he strikes the ball.
He said: “This guy for sure is top three in the world the way he strikes the ball so if he continues to hit the target he’s going to score a lot of goals, for sure.”
The news that Rashford has been linked with a move to Chelsea may come as a surprise to some, with him enjoying a strong return season with United before this tournament even started.
Chelsea are certainly lacking the attacking ability this season.
Graham Potter has struggled to solve the goalscoring challenges that had cropped up even when Thomas Tuchel was in charge of the club.
However, he may be taking some encouragement from the performances of his attackers at the World Cup, with Hakim Ziyech and Christian Pulisic impressing.
The American currently faces a race against time to be fit for their Round of 16 tie against Netherlands, although he is personally confident that he will be back.
