Chelsea will start as strong pre-match favourites this week despite recent results. In fairness, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have played some really eye-catching football at times in the draw to Liverpool and defeat to West Ham.

For newly-promoted Luton, their only fixture since returning to the top flight was a 4-1 defeat away to a rampant Brighton.

TalkSPORT pundit Agbonlahor is pretty convinced that Chelsea will have far too much for Luton in the upcoming meeting, tipping the hosts to win 3-0.

“Tough game for Luton. I really feel that defensively they’ve been poor. Chelsea are going to want to put on a performance in front of a home crowd… Jackson looking to get some goals as well at home. I really feel this could be a three or four nil. I’m going to go 3-0 and hope Luton don’t go there and get a good beating,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.

The Chelsea Chronicle has delivered a predicted starting line-up for the clash against Luton.

Despite using a back four in pre-season, the Blues have started the new campaign with a back three. It’ll be interesting to see what Pochettino does tomorrow, though.

Hopefully, the likes of Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson can catch fire in front of goal to secure the first win of the season.
