It has been claimed that Chelsea already have a good relationship with the agent who represents Julian Nagelsmann.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg has claimed that it is the same agent that represents Timo Werner, and has therefore worked closely with the club before.
The German was unceremoniously sacked by Bayern Munich last week, despite impressing greatly in the Champions League and being within touching distance of the top of the Bundesliga.

However, the side Nagelsmann won the league with last year decided instead that they saw their future with a different coach at the helm.
Former Blues boss Thomas Tuchel was handed the job, with him not taking long to look to raid his old club.
He made it public his desire to work with coach Anthony Barry again, while reports have swirled about potential moves for Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic.
Nagelsmann has good Chelsea connections
This has left an extremely talented young coach without a job at a time the managerial position at Chelsea is insecure.
Graham Potter has recently eased pressure over his job, however a run of two wins in 17 games certainly put plenty of heat on him.
Plettenberg has claimed that Nagelsmann is in a great position to take over at Stamford Bridge should the Blues sack Potter.

He said: “True: Julian Nagelsmann is on the shortlist of Chelsea FC if Graham Potter must be sacked. The agents of Nagelsmann have a good Connection to the Club (Timo Werner is at the same Agency).”
The ability Nagelsmann has shown at both Bayern and RB Leipzig in his very young coaching career suggests he could very easily take Chelsea back to where they belong at the top of the table.
However, Todd Boehly’s insistence to back the former Brighton boss so far could see that move blocked.
