Chelsea supporters urged Thomas Tuchel’s team not to celebrate like Manchester City did following their Champions League victory yesterday.

A video on social merged emerged of Pep Guardiola’s side wildly rejoicing their 2-0 win over Paris Saint Germain and securing a spot in this year’s final.

Blues followers demanded their players did not replicate these scenes from the Etihad dressing room if they defeat Real Madrid tonight.

Here’s how they reacted on Twitter:

Granted, City had just booked their spot in the club’s first ever Champions League finale.

Guardiola has been desperate to reclaim this trophy ever since he stepped foot in Manchester five years ago.

He was won everything domestically in England, but that European prize still evades him.

All eyes will be fixed on Stamford Bridge this evening to found out who City shall face on the 29th May in the Attaturk Olympic Stadium.

Chelsea host Madrid later today in a contest that is perfectly poised in the balance.

Christian Pulisic’s fine solo strike last week in Spain gives the Blues a crucial away goal advantage going into this fixture.

Thanks to Karim Benzema’s acrobatic effort, Madrid only need to score one time without reply to book their place in the competition’s conclusive game.

This is certainly easier said than done when coming up against Chelsea.

Just ten goals have been scored past Tuchel’s group since the German coach took over in January.

Of course, if Madrid do go in front, the onus will be on the hosts to come out fighting.

They have struggled to blitz past opponents under Tuchel, managing to bag more than two goals only once during his short tenure.

As the old cliché goes, the first goal in this tie could be so important.
