Chelsea have confirmed that Kai Havertz and Mateo Kovacic were the only two absentees in the final training session ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Juventus.
Thomas Tuchel previously ruled Kovacic, who is still nursing a hamstring injury, out of the match.
The German, however, was hopeful that Havertz, who is also dealing with a hamstring problem, could still make the squad.

It is now very unlikely that the former Bayer Leverkusen star would feature against Juventus after missing out on the final preparation on Monday.
On a positive note, Romelu Lukaku took part in the group training after being out for a month due to an ankle injury.

During the match press conference, Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt highlighted the impact that Belgium international’s presence would have on Tuesday’s match.
Timo Werner and Jorginho were also involved. The latter suffered a minor muscle problem during the 3-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday but was later confirmed fine.
