Chelsea supporters should be very excited about the rapid rise of Dastan Satpaev. In fact, he’s just underlined why there is so much hype around him with another statement performance this week.
Dastan Satpaev, 17, could well be the next Chelsea youngster to come good at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues have already completed the signing of the teenage forward from Kazakhstan club Kairat Almaty, but he won’t make the move to West London until next summer when he turns 18. At the moment, he’s shining in Kairat’s first team on a consistent basis.
Chelsea think Satpaev could end up like Estevao Willian further down the line, which is a sign of how much they value the rising star.
The clinical striker, who can also play on the wing, is a permanent starter for a Kairat side who are competing in this season’s Champions League. He’s also earned five senior international caps for Kazakhstan, too.
