Tyrique George says he loved playing with £52m Chelsea man during 8-0 win over Noah in Conference League

Chelsea’s third successive win in the Conference League saw them given the chance to give a number of youngsters an opportunity to impress last night.

In the resounding 8-0 win over Noah at Stamford Bridge, Tyrique George was given his first chance to start for the first team on the right wing.

Chelsea fans were delighted with the impact George made, and he realistically should’ve walked away with at least an assist if a great chance wasn’t spurned by Joao Felix early on.

Despite Enzo Maresca making 11 changes to his side for the European game, there was still a plethora of quality on display in West London.

Tyrique George really enjoyed playing with Christopher Nkunku for Chelsea

One of the top performers this season who has been forced to wait patiently for regular minutes is Christopher Nkunku, who again found the net twice last night.

Nkunku and George linked up well a number of times last night, and the youngster stated that he really enjoyed the chance to play with the Frenchman.

He said to the Chelsea website: “Me and Christo [Christopher Nkunku] is a good relationship on the right. I really enjoyed that! It doesn’t take long [to build relationships] because they are quality players. When you play with them it’s so easy.”

Chelsea have already booked their place in the next round of the competition, although will no doubt be looking to keep up their dominance in the final three group games.

Nkunku waiting for Chelsea career to kickstart

There will certainly be a chance though for George to make more appearances, as well as a number of other youngsters such as Marc Guiu. The Spaniard opened his account for the club last night.

Nkunku is still waiting for his Chelsea career to really kick into gear after his £52m move to the club.

He has reached double digits in all competitions this season, however is struggling to take Nicolas Jackson’s place in the side after the Senegal international’s excellent start to the campaign.
