UEFA confirms Chelsea’s Round of 16 Champions League opponents and crucial dates

A titanic European collision has been set in stone as the UEFA Champions League draw pairs Chelsea with Paris Saint-Germain in a blockbuster Round of 16 encounter.

The draw for the 2025/26 Champions League knockout stages has delivered a high-stakes reunion, as Chelsea are officially set to face holders Paris Saint-Germain.

Having finished 6th in the league phase, Liam Rosenior’s side avoided the play-offs but was guaranteed a difficult route.

The first leg will take place at the Parc des Princes on March 11 at 8pm, with the decisive return leg under the lights at Stamford Bridge on March 17th at 8pm.

Luis Enrique’s words on Chelsea ahead of the Round of 16 draw

Luis Enrique has already assessed PSG’s chances against Chelsea, stating there is a couple of things to fix after they scraped through in a 5-4 win over AS Monaco.

“Emotionally, Barca is a very special team for me.

“Whether it’s Camp Nou or Chelsea, none is easy. I will adapt to whatever comes. Both Barcelona and Chelsea are incredible teams.

“If we have to go to London to play against Chelsea, we know we have to fix a couple of things.”
