Journalist Nizaar Kinsella has claimed that there are people at Chelsea who are very excited about the return of Benoit Badiashile.
He told the ‘London is Blue’ podcast that he is likely targeting his first game back to be the League Cup tie with Brighton.
Badiashile has had his start to the season ruined by an injury that was actually suffered during the last campaign.

A video uploaded by the club of a training session under Frank Lampard seemed to show the Frenchman pulling a muscle as he stretched for a ball, and that was the last that was seen of him as a Chelsea player so far.
The issue will no doubt have been a frustrating one, with him making an impressive start to life at Stamford Bridge.
He was just off the back of scoring his first goal for the club in a 3-1 win over Bournemouth.
Chelsea excited for Badaishile return
Since joining for £35m in January, he took his while to break into the team with him not being a part of the Champions League squad.
It has been claimed by Kinsella that the club are now very excited for him to come back.

He said: “Benoît Badiashile is close to returning. He may feature for Chelsea’s U-21s and could be targeting a return in the Carabao Cup game vs Brighton. Chelsea are very excited about Badiashile’s return.”
This is despite having Levi Colwill back from his loan away, and playing well straight away in the Premier League for the Blues.
However, the Englishman has already said that he believes the duo can play together at the back if needs be.
