Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic have been refining their spot-kick skills in Chelsea training ahead of the game against Bournemouth.
Both of the attackers were captured by the club cameras trying their luck from 12-yards on the Cobham pitches yesterday.
Havertz and Pulisic stuck their penalties away, potentially in preparation for Tuesday’s Premier League meeting with the Cherries on Tuesday.
Unless Jorginho is off the field, it is unlikely the pair will be handed the responsibility of scoring from close proximity to the goal.
Between them, they have only ever taken one penalty for Chelsea, Havertz’s strike in the Club World Cup final victory over Palmeiras in February.
They will also never have the luxury of facing a makeshift goalkeeper from such a situation.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang tried his luck between the sticks whilst Havertz and Pulisic stepped up to the white circle.
Aubameyang is clearly better at putting the ball in the back of the net, rather than keeping it at, as he failed to deny his teammates from the spot.
The striker is probably ahead of his fellow forwards in the penalty-taking order, behind arguably only Jorginho.
If the moment arrives against Bournemouth, the Italian will be the primary choice for Graham Potter.
