Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been spotted on Chelsea’s official Twitter feed scoring a screamer during training.
The Englishman has been one of only a handful of first team players who were not selected for international duty, and has instead been available for a number of training sessions with new manager Graham Potter.
The midfielder was used as a substitute in the 47-year-old’s first game in charge, with them looking for a late winner in the game against Salzburg that ended 1-1.

Many youngsters have been involved in training in recent days, with players such as Omari Hutchinson and Dion Rankine spotted amongst the first team.
It was Loftus-Cheek that impressed in the video however, as he picked the ball up from distance before smashing past third choice goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli.
The strike was met by a large chorus of applause from Potter and the rest of his coaching staff, with them clearly left impressed by what the midfielder had pulled out.
Training this week has also seen a number of positives on the injury front for the Blues, with N’golo Kante spotted returning today ahead of what will be an extremely busy month in October.

There was good news on the goalkeeper front too, with first choice option Edouard Mendy spotted back in training after missing the international break due to an injury picked up earlier in the season.
Kepa Arrizabalaga was chosen to fulfil the role in Potter’s first game in charge, however he failed to do anything to suggest that he will be threatening to take the gloves full time, despite Mendy’s difficult opening to the campaign.
Loftus-Cheek however will be hoping that he is offered an opportunity to impress in Potter’s new formation with there seemingly being two number eight roles available.
