West Brom captain Jake Livermore has been blown away by the ability of Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher, who has started well at the Hawthorns since his summer move.
Gallagher is a highly-rated talent to come through the academy at Stamford Bridge and thrived last season in the Championship, which is why the Blues decided to loan him to a Premier League club this season.
The 20-year-old has played every league minute since he completed a season-long loan to West Brom and it looks like he’s going to be a pivotal figure in their fight against relegation.
He’s an all-action central midfielder with bundles of energy and he likes to burst forward to join in with attacks, but he’s got a disciplined side to his game as well to tuck in defensively when needed.

West Brom midfielder Livermore has been playing alongside Chelsea’s rising star and is tipping him to have a massive future:
“Conor’s been fantastic for me,” Livermore said, as quoted by West Brom’s official website.
“His energy levels and quality in training every day is a steal for us and I’m tipping him to be a top, top player. He wants to learn and has great ability going forward, but on the flip side he’s more than responsible at tracking back and he’s just got bags of energy.
“The athleticism that he’s got is what the game is becoming now and he’s got that in abundance. He’s been very impressive and I think he can be a really important player for us this season.”

Gallagher is going to endure a difficult season for a West Brom side that are yet to win in the Premier League this season, but it’s going to be a brilliant learning curve for him and it looks like he’s going to play regularly for Slaven Bilic’s men.
The England Under-21 international is certainly one of the Blues loanees that Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has to be well aware of, as he’s got the creative flair from midfield and a year further down the line he may be ready to fight for a spot at Stamford Bridge.
