Chelsea are going to have to break the bank if they are to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
The Seagulls are making it extremely difficult for Moises Caicedo to leave the Amex Stadium.
According to a report from 90min, they have now told their midfielder that he will not be sold unless their £100m valuation is met.

Chelsea have already made a couple of big offers for him, with the same outlet claiming that their last one was worth £80m.
But it looks like they will have to go much higher than that if they still want to bring the 21-year-old to Stamford bridge.
Should Chelsea pay £100m for Moises Caicedo?
Probably, yes. Chelsea need a new midfielder, especially after the departures of N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Caicedo is one of the best around right now.
The Ecuadorian is so good at winning the ball back. He made 2.7 tackles per Premier League game last season, which was the most in Brighton’s squad (WhoScored).

Ultimately, it is probably what is missing at Stamford Bridge at present after Kante’s exit. With that in mind, Caicedo would surely be loved in west London.
Still, you can understand why Chelsea would be reluctant to pay £100m for the Ecuador international.
Honestly, £80m is more than a fair offer for a player who Brighton paid just £4m to sign when they snatched him away from Independiente del Valle back in 2021.
The big question, though, is will Chelsea fork out £100m on Caicedo. Todd Boehly has already shown that he is not afraid to spend that sort of money on a single player after bringing in Enzo Fernandez from Benfica in January, so you cannot rule it out.
