The arrival of Jadon Sancho at Chelsea in the summer surprised plenty of people, but he’s already proven his worth as a valuable signing.

Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has helped several Blues stars find their form this season, including Jadon Sancho.

The 24-year-old left-winger is beginning to recapture the form that he showed in his younger days in Borussia Dortmund colours. In 11 Blues appearances this campaign, he’s contributed two goals and five assists.

Sancho’s loan move to Chelsea includes an obligation to buy from Manchester United next summer. As it stands, it would be great to welcome him back to Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.

Darren Bent has praised Sancho’s form at Chelsea this season, where Maresca has been able to get a tune out of him.

Enzo Maresca rates Jadon Sancho

According to The Athletic, Maresca appreciates how good Chelsea’s Sancho is in tight areas.

Apparently, the Blues manager loves how the 24-year-old attacker does his best work in small spaces rather than big ones.

Sancho’s always been renowned as a superb dribbler and dangerous one-on-one situations, so a full-back’s worse nightmare can be defending close to him on the edge of the penalty box.

Craig Burley is equally impressed by Chelsea star Sancho by claiming he’s delivering the type of performances he’s not seen from him in ages. Meanwhile, Ian Wright says Chelsea’s Sancho has rediscovered his form.

Jadon Sancho should target England recall

Sancho may have 23 senior caps for England’s national team, but he’s not received an international call-up since 2021. At the age of 24, he should definitely have aspirations of returning to the Three Lions team.

Thomas Tuchel will officially be in his role as England’s manager by the time the next camp meets up for a World Cup qualifier in March.

For Sancho, let’s see if he can get back into the England conversation with more consistent performances for the rest of the season.

The left-winger appears to have his spot in the Blues XI nailed down, providing plenty of quality both offensively and defensively.
