All of the talk coming out of Chelsea is very positive surrounding what is going on right now.

The Blues are unbeaten in the league since the opening game of the season, and sit in the top four as the second international break of the season takes place.

Chelsea impressed with how Maresca is conducting himself

Todd Boehly and co are reportedly delighted with the impact the boss has had since joining, with the squad they have assembled starting to  come to fruition.

Matt Law has claimed that there is also admiration for the way Maresca is conducting himself as Chelsea manager,

He told London is Blue: “I think they [Chelsea] are delighted with him and what I think they’re just as delighted to do as they are with results and performances.

“I think they are delighted with the comfort at which he’s taken the role. He looks comfortable and feels comfortable and sounds comfortable as a Chelsea head coach. And I think they will be just as delighted with that, because I don’t think they had any doubts around his ability.

“I don’t think they had any doubts around the style of football, they certainly, internally, don’t have any doubts around the squad. They feel they’ve built an extremely good squad.”

Maresca dealing with pressure well

There is certainly an element of pressure that comes with being in the hotseat at Stamford Bridge.

It appears it was too much for Graham Potter, who was hand chosen to replace Thomas Tuchel early into Boehly’s time in charge of the club.

Maresca has taken to the task well, and is actually doing very well to manage an extremely strong squad.

The likes of Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto and Joao Felix are all realistically way too strong to sit on the bench for a top club, however the boss is staying loyal to the likes of Noni Madueke after they have upped their game.

The first match after international duty is going to be a huge test of where they are at though, with them taking the trip to Anfield to face league leaders Liverpool.
