It is fair to say that Neal Maupay was delighted with Brentford’s 2-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge yesterday.
After the game, Neal Maupay posted a picture of himself on his Instagram story, a picture some Chelsea fans will not be too happy about.
In it, the striker can be seen sitting and smiling in Brentford’s team coach while wearing Robert Sanchez‘s shirt.

The two, of course, played with each other at Brighton & Hove Albion, and while there was probably no malice behind Maupay’s post, some Chelsea fans will feel like their club is just being mocked at this point.
Their defeat to the Bees proved to be another bad day at the office, though Sanchez was at least able to recover from his mistake against Arsenal last weekend.
Robert Sanchez one of Chelsea’s better performers against Brentford
Sanchez was caught out for Brentford’s second goal, but there was not much the goalkeeper could do after he decided to come up for a last-minute corner as his side chased an equaliser.
He made a very good save in the second half when the score was 1-0, keeping his team in the game.
Ultimately, the Spaniard did his job this time around, unlike in the Arsenal match, where he made a costly error and was fairly criticised for it.

Rather, what cost Chelsea yesterday was poor finishing. Mauricio Pochettino’s side had opportunities to take the lead in the first half but failed to take any of them.
They are going to have to do much better next Monday when they travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on the league leaders. If they do not, with the form Spurs are in at the moment, it is going to be another loss for the Blues.
Hopefully it does not come down to that but, at this point, we would not be surprised.
