Mason Mount may be struggling at Manchester United right now, but he does not seem to be missing Chelsea too much.
Mason Mount is yet to score a goal for Manchester United this season and has lost his place in Erik ten Hag’s starting XI.
You would not blame him, then, if he had some regrets over leaving Chelsea for United. However, people close to the attacking midfielder have told The Athletic that he is actually not missing his boyhood club as much as some thought he would.
Still, things went much smoother at Chelsea than how they are going for Mount now at United. There, he won the Champions League. And during his best ever season at Stamford Bridge, he managed to come up with 21 goal contributions in 32 Premier League appearances.
Of course, it is still early days for Mount at Old Trafford and he is obviously a player who can perform at this level, so he should be able to turn things around.

Do Chelsea miss Mason Mount?
Mount does not seem to miss his former club too much and the feeling is probably mutual.
Since his departure, Cole Palmer has come in from United’s rivals Manchester City and has done an excellent job.
Chelsea are now tipping the attacker to go on and accomplish big things in the game.
While they have all come from the penalty spot, Palmer has already scored four goals in the Premier League for Chelsea this season.
The England international has also provided four assists in all competitions and has just been an attacking threat overall.
According to The Telegraph, Palmer was brought in to replace Kai Havertz, who left Chelsea for Arsenal. But given that the German mostly played as a striker for the Blues, while Mount was used in other attacking positions, it does feel like Palmer has actually succeeded the latter and not the former.
