Take a little trip down Twitter memory lane and you’ll eventually come across Tammy Abraham’s appreciation for Chelsea icon, Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho and Abraham will be linking up this season, following the latter’s £34m (BBC) transfer from his boyhood club to Roma.
Both player and manager are going to be experiencing a fresh challenge this year, away from the pressures of Stamford Bridge.
Although expectations at the Serie A side will be massive, as Rio Ferdinand explained, the pair can loosen up their shoulders a little.
Abraham a big Mourinho admirer
Roma might not have always been the first choice for Abraham after he eventually left Chelsea, but working with Mourinho has certainly been top of his agenda.
That’s according to his old social media anyway.
In 2013, the striker sent out a simple Tweet following Mourinho’s return as Blues boss for a second spell.
‘The man is back’ typed out Abraham, with the air of a superfan meeting their idol.
He would have only been 15 at the time, working his way up through Chelsea’s academy, inspiring to play under the Portuguese manager one day.
Guess dreams sometimes do come true.
A year later, Abraham was back at his keyboard.
On this occasion, he was reacting to the Blues’ 2-0 Champions League quarter-final victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
Following Dema Ba’s winning goal, Mourinho made a beeline down the touchline to join his players in wild celebration.

It was a scene that threw shades to his infamous act at Old Trafford in 2004, where Porto eliminated Manchester United on route to becoming European champions.
Evidently, Abraham absolutely loved this commitment from his future gaffer, ending his 140-character declaration with #class.
Now, the 23-year-old can finally spew all of his affection towards Mourinho in the flesh.
