It’s fair to say that if you were writing a manual on how to qualify for an FA Cup semi-final, how Chelsea did it yesterday would not be the number one route.
However, those who travelled to Stamford Bridge could not complain that they had not been treated to some entertaining action.
They notably got a first person viewing of the brilliant Cole Palmer, who added another goal and assist to his stats for the season.

Still bearing in mind that as it is his first real season as a first team player, it remains incredible the achievement he has already done.
It could even have been two goals on the day if he had taken the penalty as normal, although Raheem Sterling pulled rank only to miss from 12 yards.
His pure individual brilliance can be put down as the reason the Blues were able to unlock a stubborn Leicester side, with his sensational flick assisting Carney Chukwuemeka for his first goal since his injury.
While everything in the attack flowed through the former Manchester City man, there was a player continuing to work hard behind him that deserves plenty of credit.
Caicedo was the star against Leicester
Moises Caicedo has remained an underrated figure for the majority of this season at Stamford Bridge, likely given the fact they spent so much money on him.
However, yesterday was just another example of the Ecuador international not putting a foot wrong in the middle of the park.
He won the most duels of anyone who featured, and one of these sent the Blues on their way to scoring the first of four goals.
The 22-year-old also showed that there is more to his game than just winning the ball back, as he created more chances than anyone on the pitch too.
Considering he was having to feature without normal midfield partner Enzo Fernandez, he certainly showed that out of the two he seems to be the more important member to the squad right now.
