Alan Shearer has now been critical of one Chelsea player for what he does when the Blues have possession of the ball.
He claimed during the half-time coverage on Amazon Prime that Nicolas Jackson could have had himself a goal last night if he had been more clinical with his touches.
Jackson had a mostly quiet evening again for the Blues as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Cole Palmer’s stoppage time goal in the first half was not enough for Chelsea to take anything from the game, and the performance on the whole will have been really frustrating for Mauricio Pochettino.
Enzo Fernandez in particular enjoyed a rough evening, with him being spared blushes early on after giving away a needless penalty that was saved by Robert Sanchez.
One of Chelsea’s biggest chances came in the first half when Raheem Sterling and Jackson broke through and looked clean away.
Shearer on Jackson
The Englishman fed the 22-year-old, however he was quickly smothered by Andre Onana and the chance went begging.
Shearer has now claimed that he feels the Senegal international should have done so much better.
He said: “I disagree with Ally. I think it’s a decent pass from Sterling. There is no need for him to let that ball run across him and hit that first time. We said about it before the game about him taking too many touches. That has to be one touch and in the back of the net.
“Forget about taking a touch when you are seven yards out and in the middle of the goal. Why? You don’t need it. For me that’s an incredible chance.”
His place in the side will be under threat from Armando Broja now, who instantly looked more dangerous up front when he came on late last night.
