The majority of the Chelsea squad are currently out in the United States looking to impress the new manager in pre-season.
Enzo Maresca has been keen to hand a lot of his squad an opportunity to prove they can adjust to his style of play ahead of next season.
One player who seems to have taken that chance so far is Marc Guiu, with his performances perhaps surprising a few so far.
Chelsea have been particularly impressed by his game so far, with him making the most of Nicolas Jackson being out due to injury.
Another striker who is playing no part in pre-season is Romelu Lukaku, which will remain the case for the entire summer.

The Belgian hasn’t featured for the Blues since 2021, and that does not look likely to play ever again for the club.
Romelu Lukaku to train alone at Chelsea
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the striker is going to be training alone at Cobham until his future is resolved.
There is no doubting the 31-year-old’s quality on his day. Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel previously descrobed him as ‘world-class’.
It has been reported that Napoli have an agreement with Lukaku over a move back to Italy on a permanent basis, however they are still needing to secure a fee with Chelsea.
Napoli need Victor Osimhen to leave to sign Lukaku
It also looks as if the Serie A side are going to need to say goodbye to Victor Osimhen before this deal is possible, with him yet to move despite interest from a number of sides this summer.
One of those who are reportedly keen are Chelsea, however there is no chance they are going to pay the fee that Napoli are looking for to part ways with him.
However, reports have not gone away that they are keen on bringing in yet another striker this summer, especially if they find a club to sign Armando Broja from them this summer after he was left on the bench for the last friendly against Celtic.
