Chelsea have the chance to make it five Premier League wins in a row at the weekend when they take on Brentford.

Enzo Maresca has taken no risks surrounding his first team players, with very few making the long-haul trip to play in freezing conditions in the Conference League last night.

Pedro Neto was one of the only stars to make a real impact last night, and he will not be available to take on the Bees anyway due to suspension.

Stephen Bunting predicts Chelsea will beat Brentford

The Chelsea Chronicle have predicted Noni Madueke will replace him in the starting side, as they look to do what they can to keep the pressure on Liverpool at the top of the table.

Chelsea will be playing in the unusual kick-off time of 7pm on Sunday, with Chris Sutton believing the start time will bring an ‘odd’ atmosphere.

PDC darts superstar Stephen Bunting has given his predictions for the weekend’s Premier League action, and believes the Blues will pick up all three points at Stamford Bridge.

He said to BBC Sport: “Chelsea are looking really good. Palmer is one of the best players in the Premier League and they always have a strong bench if they need it too. 3-1.”

Chelsea’s terrible record against Brentford

This is Brentford’s fourth season back in the Premier League, and in that time Chelsea have only beaten their West London rivals once.

The most damning defeat came when Thomas Tuchel was in charge, and Chelsea were on a six game winning run before they were beaten 4-1 at home.

The Blues are on an identical winning run at this stage, and will obviously be hoping that history doesn’t repeat itself this weekend.

A win will guarantee they remain second when this weekend’s fixtures are over, and bring them towards what on paper is a very attractive run of games for the next few weeks.
