Everton beat Arsenal last night in a Premier League encounter – and some Chelsea fans on Twitter were left blown away by the performance of Richarlison.
The Merseyside club came from behind to beat Arsenal 2-1, as Richarlison and Demarai Gray scored inside the final 10 minutes to earn the three league points.
Richarlison, 24, was one of the outstanding performers at Goodison Park on Monday night.
The £50million forward netted an equalising goal with a difficult header, angling his body superbly well to help finish a looping ball that bounced off the woodwork. Previously, the Everton star was unfortunate to have two goals disallowed during the contest for tight offside calls.

Chelsea fans would love Richarlison
A selection of Chelsea supporters on social media were left raving about the individual display of a Premier League rival yesterday.
Richarlison, who played as the central striker in the absence of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, put in a brilliant performance.
The Brazil international showed his intelligence around the penalty box. Also, he worked his socks off for 90 minutes by dropping deeper to get involved in the contest, something he’s become well renowned for.
He’s often shifted out to the left flank in the Everton XI when Calvert-Lewin is absent, but is one of Everton’s standout figures when he plays anywhere near his best.
Chelsea’s squad is overloaded with brilliant attacking options, so it’s a surprise to hear so many suggest Richarlison as a future transfer target.
In fairness, his energy and movement could fit into Thomas Tuchel’s system at Stamford Bridge. However, he does at times lack a clinical edge in front of goal. He’s scored 45 goals in 129 appearances for Everton.
Chelsea’s problems in front of goal right now are unique. They are scoring from all over the pitch, but there is no standout individual netting on a weekly basis. Reece James and Mason Mount are joint-top Chelsea scorers so far this campaign with five goals each in all competitions.
Here are some Chelsea fans discussing Richarlison.
Another Diogo Jota?
Of course, Richarlison is untested playing at an elite club, which is why it’s difficult to know if he can make the step up. Some Chelsea fans are convinced that he’s ready for another big move up the footballing ladder, though.
He’s got an eye-catching record of five goals in six senior Brazil caps. The versatile forward has shown he’s capable of outstanding displays in the Premier League, too.
Liverpool’s Diogo Jota may be the perfect example when considering if Richarlison is capable of making a step up.
25-year-old Portuguese attacker Jota scored 44 goals in 131 appearances for ex-club Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, his game has reached new dazzling heights since a move to Anfield to link up with better players at Liverpool.
The in-form striker has 22 goals in 48 matches for Liverpool, and is proof there is some serious talent in the Premier League outside of just the ‘big clubs’. For example, Leeds United’s Raphinha fits into that category as a player surely destined for the top at some stage in his career.
