Chelsea youngster Andrey Santos has shared that he’s a huge fan of Enzo Fernandez.

Andrey Santos, who’s just 18, completed a permanent transfer in January from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama to Chelsea.

The talented midfielder has since returned to Vasco da Gama on loan until the 30 June, though.

It looks like Chelsea have a real gem on their hands with the teenager, who’s been called up to the senior Brazil squad during the current international break.

GOAL recently named Santos as one of the world’s best young talents, alongside Blues duo Lewis Hall and Gabriel Slonina.

Speaking to GloboEsporte, Santos has picked out a couple of first-team Chelsea stars he may get to play with next season.

He’s given special praise to Argentine star Enzo Fernandez, 22, who’s one of the top midfielders around right now.

In addition, he namedropped 38-year-old Chelsea and Brazilian centre-back Thiago Silva.

“I really like Thiago Silva, who is a reference, Enzo Fernández too, who is a great player. I hope to play alongside him,” Santos said.

There is a lot of noise around Santos right now, so Chelsea fans will be excited about the thought of seeing him live themselves at a later date.

It would be quite the achievement if he’s given a first senior cap tonight when Brazil face Morocco in a friendly match.

All young Brazilians are naturally going to look up to Silva, one of his nation’s best ever defenders.

As for World Cup winner Fernandez, he’s setting the benchmark as one of the world’s finest young central midfielders right now.

Will get to see a Fernandez-Santos pivot in the Chelsea midfielder in years to come? Let’s wait and see.
