Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling returned to training on Tuesday as the team continues their preparation for Saturday’s clash with Aston Villa.
Sterling, who played a key role in Chelsea’s second-leg win over Borussia Dortmund earlier this month, missed the last two games; against Leicester City and Everton, due to a hamstring injury.
As a result, he was also left out of the England squad for the Euro qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine.
Fortunately for Chelsea, the international break has given the winger the time to recover without having to miss many more games.

He is now back out on the grass and will likely be in contention to start against Villa this weekend.
“Feels good to be back,” the England international wrote on Instagram.
Chelsea will also hope Mason Mount, Reece James, Kai Havertz, Thiago Silva, Wesley Fofana, and Cesar Azpilicueta, who are also nursing injuries, will be back in time for their busy April schedule.
James, Havertz, and Fofana, in particular, had been called up by England, Germany, and France, respectively, before eventually withdrawing from the national teams.
N’Golo Kante, who played in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Charlton Athletic last week, could also make his competitive return in the upcoming game after a long-term absence since August.
