'He's got everything': Declan Rice blown away by 'strong' player Chelsea reportedly want to sign

Declan Rice is blown away by the ability of England teammate Jude Bellingham, who’s reportedly someone that Chelsea want to sign in the future.

Bellingham, 19, is a rising English star that’s making a name for himself as a key player for German club Borussia Dortmund.

The box-to-box midfielder is already performing on the domestic and European stage with Dortmund, plus the teenager’s now got 15 senior caps for England.

Along with West Ham’s Declan Rice, he could form a very exciting midfield combination for the Three Lions at this winter’s World Cup. England boss Gareth Southgate has included the pair in his squad for the current international break.

Rice blown away by Bellingham

23-year-old Rice, who comes up against top-class Premier League midfields every week, rates Bellingham very highly.

He can’t wait to see how good the “strong” Dortmund youngster is after a few more years of development.

“I think he’s energetic, strong, self-belief, no fear, he’s got everything,” Rice told talkSPORT.

He later added: “He’s still only 19. By the time he’s 22/23, he’s going to be incredible.”

Chelsea are reportedly among the clubs that are already interested in trying to sign Bellingham next summer. The Blues are ready to compete with Manchester United and Liverpool to sign Dortmund’s midfielder, who could cost over £100million.

He’s now a talisman in the Dortmund XI that starts every game, scoring three goals in 10 appearances so far this season. Incidentally, two of his goals have come up in the Champions League group stages.

If he can shine on the World Cup stage, his reputation is only going to soar even higher.

He’s not gone the conventional route in his career so far by building himself overseas, but the Bundesliga has been an amazing platform for him to grow.

He definitely doesn’t look like a 19-year-old when you see his physical frame and comfort on the pitch, so it could end up being an intriguing bidding war for his signature later down the line. Let’s hope Chelsea can win the race because some of their senior midfielders can’t go on forever.
