Raheem Sterling has picked out Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher as the best in training.
Gallagher, who’s had a brilliant journey from academy to the first team at Chelsea, has settled nicely into the senior group this season after several loan spells.
The 22-year-old is a box-to-box midfielder who has already played 15 games this season, scoring his first senior goal for the Blues last month against Crystal Palace.
He’s renowned as a player with incredible work rate and desire when he steps on the pitch. Therefore, it’s not a major surprise to hear what he’s like on the training pitch at Cobham.

Conor Gallagher in training
When asked by BT Sport the best trainer at Chelsea, Sterling responded “I would say Conor. I like the way Conor trains.”
Gallagher ticks so many boxes when you look at him as a player, with his professionalism on and off the pitch an excellent attribute to have.
It’s going to be interesting to see if he can force his way into the final England squad for the World Cup.
Despite earning four senior international caps for his country, he wasn’t included in the most recent Three Lions camp.
However, he’s now getting good minutes in Graham Potter’s Chelsea line-up.
Sam Allardyce has claimed he would take Gallagher in the England squad to Qatar.
