Nicolas Jackson has shared his loved for Chelsea teammate Raheem Sterling after yesterday’s victory against Luton Town.

The Blues really got their Premier League season up and running by securing a 3-0 home win against Luton yesterday evening.

Raheem Sterling, who was awarded man of the match, scored twice in a scintillating display.

In addition, Nicolas Jackson netted his first goal for the club.

Jackson scored Chelsea’s third goal late on with a simple tap in from a close distance, but it was Sterling’s excellent low cross into the penalty box that created it.

“What a cross from Raheem, love him. Amazing feeling to score at the Bridge in front of the fans. I hope more to come,” Jackson told Chelsea’s X account.

We’re delighted to see Jackson has quickly integrated himself into the group following his summer arrival from Villarreal.

We feel the Chelsea attack could look quite different when Christopher Nkunku is back available again, but a decent combination is forming in the early weeks of the season without him.

The Jackson-Sterling partnership in forward areas is showing some real signs of quality so far this campaign.

Jackson, 22, works tirelessly leading the line as Chelsea’s main striker. There’s no doubt he thrives when he gets quality teammates around him to link up play.

As for 28-year-old Sterling, the Blues attacker is injecting some extra pace and trickery to the forward positions.

We fully expect Jackson to be on the end of plenty more Sterling crosses moving forward this season.
