Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has shared that he’s already striking up a great combination with teammate Mykhailo Mudryk.

Nicolas Jackson, 22, has arrived at Stamford Bridge this summer as a new signing from Villarreal.

The young striker has certainly made a positive start so far in pre-season, scoring once and providing three assists in two friendly matches during the United States tour.

We saw in the recent win against Brighton some great intricate football between Jackson and 22-year-old Blues winger Mykhailo Mudryk, who thundered in a powerful shot from the edge of the box.

Hopefully, there’s a lot more to come from the attacking duo.

Jackson sounds extremely upbeat after a few weeks in pre-season with his new club.

The young centre-forward has spoken glowingly about the new partnerships he’s builfing on the pitch, including with left-winger Mudryk.

“The link ups I am having with my teammates feels natural, it feels promising. With Misah [Mudryk] we are working so hard on our movements, our understanding. And remember, practice always makes perfect,” Jackson said, as quoted by Chelsea’s 5th Stand App.

Chelsea’s attack has looked fairly toothless as a general rule in the past couple of weeks, with the team relying on goals from all over the park from numerous players.

Hopefully, the Blues can now find a formula to get their forwards each scoring 10-plus goals per season.
