Reece James has praised Chelsea teammate Denis Zakaria after his Premier League display earlier this week.
Chelsea slipped to a 1-0 loss against Manchester City on Thursday night, with Riyad Mahrez scoring the only goal of the contest at Stamford Bridge.
Despite yet another league defeat, there were a number of positives for the Blues to take moving forward.
For example, Graham Potter raved about Zakaria after the midfielder’s performance against Man City, describing him as “brave with the ball”.
The 26-year-old is certainly starting to show everyone his true ability after a slow start to his life on loan at Chelsea.

Reece James praised Denis Zakaria
Injured Blues star James, 23, is the latest to shower Zakaria with big praise.
He’s described the Swiss central midfielder as a “serious player” when replying to his Instagram post.

Zakaria, who’s made just five Chelsea appearances since joining in the summer on loan from Juventus, is slowly becoming a real favourite with the fanbase.
He’s an all-action central midfielder that’s adding aggression, passion, and quality at a time when the Blues are struggling for results.
There’s no doubt Potter’s side look better in the centre of the park with the physicality of Zakaria.
Fabrizio Romano previously reported on Twitter that Chelsea have the option to sign Zakaria on a permanent basis in the summer for £30million. This looks like it could be an excellent addition at this moment in time.
