United States captain Tyler Adams has raved about the quality of international teammate and Chelsea star Christian Pulisic.
Adams, who’s a £20million midfielder for Premier League club Leeds, is part of a United States squad at this year’s World Cup filled with England-based players.
Pulisic has got to be the most high-profile name in his nation’s squad.
The 24-year-old winger isn’t always in favour for club side Chelsea, but there’s a lot of responsibility on his shoulders at international level.
He did manage to provide an eye-catching assist on Monday as United States kickstarted their World Cup campaign with a 1-1 draw against Wales. Next, they’ve got an exciting fixture against England in Group B.

Tyler Adams raved about Christian Pulisic
Adams has paid tribute to the quality of Chelsea’s rapid wide man:
“He (Pulisic) is an unbelievable player. What you saw on the goal [against Wales], he is probably the only player on the field that can set that play up,” the Leeds player said.
“That is a glimpse of what he can do. He is super talented and he is going to be a huge integral part for us moving forward.”

Described as “talented” by Roy Keane this week, Pulisic definitely has quality and potential.
He’s produced a few brilliant moments in a Chelsea shirt and often shines in the United States kit, but the consistency to kick on to the next level just doesn’t exist yet.
In our view, he’ll be desperate this Friday to put on a spectacular performance against England to show how good he can really be.
There’s been times during the Premier League where he’s looked like he can be one of the division’s top wingers, but his club form in 2022 hasn’t reached anywhere near that kind of height.
