Trevoh Chalobah returned to a more confident version of himself as Chelsea just squeezed past Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Chalobah remained in the starting line-up for another London derby, despite his disappointing display away to Fulham just three days prior.
The 23-year-old was part of a back three that failed to keep a clean sheet at Craven Cottage on Thursday evening.
He was eventually taken off by Graham Potter, the manager putting a stop to his player’s poor performance.
Potter did not lose faith in the defender, however, and restored him to the XI again Palace, but as a right-back.

This position is not too familiar to Chalobah, having only featured there on a couple of occasions in his senior career.
His last appearance as a full-back was in the harrowing FA Cup exit at the hands of Manchester City earlier this month.
Trevoh Chalobah was more confident for Chelsea
Thankfully, yesterday’s match provided much more joy for Chelsea and their supporters.
Not to mention Chalobah, who enjoyed a decent afternoon at Stamford Bridge.
According to WhoScored.com, he won four aerial duels, made three tackles, two interceptions and two clearances, as the Blues secured a rare clean sheet in the 1-0 victory.

An all-round rock-solid defensive display, that he celebrated via an Instagram post after the full-time whistle.
‘Let’s goooo. Three points, clean sheet, let’s keep it moving. Time to build on this,’ wrote the defender.
In response to this motivational message, Chalobah received some love from a few of his teammates.
Thiago Silva, who unsurprisingly involved in the triumph over Palace, left the ‘heart eyes’ emoji in the comments.
Mason Mount, also a starter in the capital city clash, went for the ‘fist bump’ icon, a homage to the pair’s long-standing partnership.
As Trev said, it’s time to build on this and prepare to challenge Liverpool on Saturday.
