Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger can’t believe the rating he’s received for pace on his new card for the upcoming FIFA 22 game.
Each year EA Sports’ release of the latest FIFA has fans, along with players, talking about ratings for the new edition.
N’Golo Kante is officially the highest rated player in the Blues squad (90) on FIFA 22. He’s followed by Romelu Lukaku (88), as well as both Jorginho and Thiago Silva (85).
Rudiger has been given an 83 card overall this campaign, but the player himself has been left amazed by one particular statistic.
The German centre-half can’t work out his 75 rating for pace, so has delivered a hilarious rant on Twitter.
For context, N’Golo Kante, Rommels Lukaku, Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, Ben Chilwell, Reece James and Callum Hudson-Odoi are Chelsea teammates who all have a higher rating for pace.
Antonio Rudiger pace is such a weapon
Anyone who actually watches Rudiger play knows he’s arguably the quickest individual at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old’s speed is such a weapon for Chelsea to have at the back because they can be comfortable of balls being played over the top of the defence.
It’s hard to think of anyone that’s got the better of him in individual battles since Thomas Tuchel took charge as Blues manager, so he’s now a massive favourite with supporters.
Unfortunately, he’s not getting the respect he deserves in the gaming world.
However, Chelsea know they are lucky to have one of the most in-form centre-halves in the entire world that has both pace and power.
