Frank Leboeuf approves of the appointment of Graham Potter at Chelsea by claiming he’s the right man at the right time.
The ruthless nature of football management saw Thomas Tuchel dismissed as Blues manager this week, despite guiding them to European glory during his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea do deserve credit for the speed in which they’ve welcomed a replacement.
Graham Potter left Brighton to complete a move to West London yesterday, officially becoming the club’s new head coach.
The 47-year-old’s building quite the eye-catching CV in his managerial career, but this is the biggest job he’s taken on by some distance.

Lebouef approves of Potter appointment
ESPN pundit and former Chelsea defender Lebouef is very positive about Potter’s arrival at the Bridge.
The English coach has turned Brighton into a really exciting Premier League side to watch in recent years, who usually give a great account of themselves in big games.
He’s now getting the chance to scale his ideas up with better players and a much larger wage bill.
When discussing Potter’s appointment at Chelsea, Lebouef told ESPN: “I’m very interested to see how he’s going to work.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing Chelsea change the way they play, being more vertical, and I think Graham Potter is the right guy at the right time.”

Chelsea have appointed someone without pedigree of managing elite teams, but promising young coaches always need one of the big clubs to give them their first break.
For certain, Potter has done enough for someone to take a chance on him.
If he can get a tune out of this Blues squad, there could be really exciting times ahead for supporters that were growing tired of the football patterns under Tuchel.
