Matt Upson thinks Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk is looking a little clueless on a football pitch right now.
Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, is going through a challenging start to the season where he’s struggling to build much momentum.
He’s been restricted to cameos from the bench so far under Mauricio Pochettino for the Blues, but he started on Saturday night during Ukraine’s 1-1 draw against England.
It was a frustrating contest for him up against an in-form Kyle Walker.
His 5.90 match rating by WhoScored was the lowest by any Ukraine player in yesterday’s game against England.

BBC pundit Upson delivered a critical assessment of Mudryk after another troubling weekend display.
“Mudryk is really struggling to find form at the moment,” Upson told BBC Radio 5 Live (6:48pm, 9 September).
“He’s had a bumpy ride at Chelsea, he was flying before the move but he just doesn’t look like he’s got the idea of what he wants to do at the moment.
“He looked fine in the warm-up but in the game it’s just not happening.”

Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate did call Mudryk “a very good winger” yesterday, as quoted by England’s official website.
However, he’s doing nowhere near enough to justify the £89million (BBC) Chelsea coughed up for him back in January.
The microscope seems firmly fixed on Mudryk to watch closely everything he does. Ultimately, he needs goals, assists and match-winning contributions to get the spotlight off him for all the wrong reasons.
