Spanish football expert Graham Hunter believes Luis Enrique would only agree to succeed Graham Potter if Chelsea provide him total freedom to apply his method and attacking football.
He is said to be one of the two leading candidates for the Chelsea job, alongside Julian Nagelsmann, although the club plan to speak to a few other options before making a final decision.
Many would argue that for Enrique, who has previously expressed his desire to manage a top Premier League club, this is an opportunity he would not want to miss out on.
However, Hunted argued that as much as Enrique would have to convince Chelsea to hire him, the club would also have to agree to his demands.

“He’s an extremely driven man,” Hunter told Sky Sports (via Football Daily) when speaking about Enrique.
“I know firsthand that his English is very good and he’s been practicing it, and he absolutely desire to work in England.
“He won’t go to any club where he doesn’t think that he has an outright chance of competing for big trophies.
“He will specifically — again, I know this firsthand — want to know that the club that is inviting him to talk has absolute knowledge of his method and ideas and will sign off his total commitment to attacking football.
“If he doesn’t feel the club that approaches him have all those boxes ticked, he’ll turn down any job.
“It will not be a question of salary.”
This may seem simple but in reality, there are a lot of things to consider for the club.
Even if Chelsea were to agree to give him free rein on footballing aspects of the team, the club have a newly-established sporting department, which may not always share Enrique’s vision.
