BBC pundit Matt Upson claims Chelsea star N’Golo Kante was “everywhere” in the weekend’s thrilling 2-2 draw at home to Tottenham.
Despite leading twice, the Blues ended up with just a point in their second Premier League game of the season.
Kalidou Koulibaly and Reece James were both on the scoresheet for Thomas Tuchel’s side, who played some eye-catching football and looked dominant for the majority of the contest. However, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Kane were both on the scoresheet for the visitors.
There’s no doubt Chelsea should move into the next few games with a real spring in their step based off the level of Sunday’s display.

Kante against Tottenham
Upson believes that Kante was a colossus in Chelsea’s midfield before his injury so late into the game.
The 31-year-old came off in the final five minutes with an injury, which Tuchel has since confirmed looks like quite a serious hamstring problem.
While on the pitch, he was absolutely vital to the intensity that his team played at today. He was snapping in with interceptions and looking to get on the front foot, but the injury problem is a real worry.
“Kante’s done his hamstring… if you’ve done as much running as what he’s done today I’m not surprised [he’s injured]. He has been everywhere on this football pitch,” Upson told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“He’s just been brilliant and he’s had a rough run with injuries a little bit. He’s the type of player you just want to see fit.”

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Kante’s not sidelined for a significant period of time.
He still remains an absolute world-class talent when he’s on form, but the frequent injuries that are creeping into his game suggests he is slowing down.
