Kevin Campbell picked up on Marc Cucurella’s unconvincing methods as Arsenal took the lead against Chelsea.
Speaking live on Sky Sports during the London derby, Campbell highlighted the fact that Cucurella was more intent on grabbing Granit Xhaka than keeping the ball out of the net.
Mikel Arteta’s men managed to claim victory at Stamford Bridge thanks to some questionable defending from the home side.
Graham Potter’s team were sloppy throughout the fixture, but none more so when they conceded in the second-half.

A low Arsenal corner was flicked on at the near post, a touch that travelled past two or three Chelsea players.
This gave Gabriel the easy task of simply prodding the ball over the line and handing the Gunners a deserved lead.
The finger of blame for conceding in such a simple manner could be pointed to a number of Potter’s troops.
But it was Cucurella’s unwanted involvement that caught the attention of Campbell.
“There’s one shot of Cucurella,” he said.
“I think he’s marking Xhaka and the ball just goes past him and he’s just holding Xhaka in place when he really should’ve been dealing with the ball.”
Careless from Cucurella
Photos clearly prove that the Chelsea defender was in indeed grappling with his marker instead of clearing the danger.

It topped off a very dismal and damp day for Cucurella, who didn’t enjoy many highlights in the English rain.
He endured a constant battle with Bukayo Saka down the left channel, and was lucky not to give away a penalty for handball.
His poor performance was not the only one from a Chelsea perspective, however.
Arguably none of the Blues could hold their high as they trudged down the tunnel following a very underwhelming display.
