Jason Cundy has claimed to TalkSPORT that Jorginho will be a good signing for Arsenal.
The Italy international is close to being announced as the Premier League top side’s new signing from Chelsea today.
The 31-year-old had just six months left on his contract, with there being no indication that he would extend his stay. With N’golo Kante also not having a deal in place, the Blues couldn’t risk losing both players for free.

Arsenal look set to miss out on midfield target Moises Caicedo, instead switching their attention to Jorginho today.
Cundy has claimed that there are comparisons between him and Cesc Fabregas, with his positives easily outweighing his negatives.
He said: “He gets a lot of clog Jorginho from Chelsea fans, and there are games which can pass him by.
“A lot of people often talk about what he can’t do and I think we are at all times talking about a player and saying ‘he can’t do this or that’.

“But what he’s brilliant at is ball retention. He keeps it, he slows the game and he can control the tempo of the game.
“Out of possession he’s a little bit like Fabregas. People talk about what Fabregas is like out of possession – he can’t defend, he’s not quick – all of that in possession, if you keep the ball, he’s that link between the defence and the midfield, he’s got a lovely range of passing and he’s never injured. I think it is a good signing for Arsenal.”
The Blues are hoping to address their midfield vacancy with the signing of Enzo Fernandez from Benfica, with the deal set to go down to the final moments of the window.
