BBC Pundit Matthew Upson claimed on commentary last night that there aren’t many players better than Christopher Nkunku right now.
The Frenchman is set to join Chelsea at the end of the season.
However, yesterday he was playing a big role in keeping RB Leipzig’s Champions League dream alive, despite the tough draw against Manchester City.

They pulled out a 1-1 draw last night thanks to a Josko Gvardiol header in the second half.
The Croatian is another name linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side, with Chelsea coming the closest in the past to bringing him in.
It was Nkunku’s impact that caught Upson’s eye however, with him coming onto the pitch whilst making a return from injury.

The BBC pundit claimed based on current form though, there’s not many better in the world that you’d like to have on your side.
He said: “Well if you could bring on any player at this stage of the game, you can’t think of many better than him in terms of form and impact on his game at the moment.
“He really runs at defenders, and has picked up that position Forsberg was playing in.”

There is plenty of excitement over what the France international will be able to bring to Stamford Bridge, however whoever is in charge at the time will have the task of fitting him in a squad amongst the other stars at the club.
He has claimed himself in an interview that he sees his best role just behind the striker.
This position is currently occupied by Joao Felix, and although the Portuguese star is only on loan right now, reports have stated that there are intentions to make that stay permanent at the end of the season.
