Pat Nevin praised Chelsea’s Joao Felix for his performance in the weekend draw against Everton.
Chelsea go into the international break off the back of Saturday’s 2-2 draw at home to Everton, which is made even more frustrating by the fact they led the contest on two separate occasions.
Felix and Kai Havertz were both on the scoresheet for the Blues. But Abdoulaye Doucoure and Ellis Simms scored equalising goals for Everton, respectively.
Graham Potter’s side should definitely feel like it’s two points dropped, and the result means they’re still 10th in the Premier League table.
Thankfully, the club’s season is still alive with a Champions League quarter-final with Real Madrid to look forward to next month.

BBC pundit Pat Nevin did single out Felix for big praise during the Everton draw.
In particular, he was very impressed by the 23-year-old attacker’s goal, which was his first at Stamford Bridge since arriving.
The Portuguese star hit a low left-footed finish into the corner that bounced in off the post. Also, he looked very lively and creative during 86 minutes on the pitch.
“You can’t make an argument against Joao Felix scoring today. His skills have been fantastic, he has controlled large parts of the play. He takes a touch and just hits it low and hard and towards the corner,” Nevin told BBC Radio 5 Live (6:45pm, 18 March).
“It goes through legs and when that happens, goalkeepers never seem to save it because they cannot get to that area.
“He’s hit the post three or four times for Chelsea and this time it has gone in. Maybe his luck is changing, that’s all he needed really, a little bit of extra luck.”

We expect more calls from fans to sign Felix permanently if keeps delivering like this.
The on-loan Atletico Madrid man was extremely lively yet again today, popping up in so many intelligent positions.
If he can just add more goals to his game, this is an extremely special talent.
