Chelsea have been drawn against Wrexham Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup after beating Hull City 4-0.
As for the Blues’ upcoming opponents, they defeated Ipswich Town 1-0 in their fourth round tie.
Ipswich’s former striker, Liam Delap, played a key role in Chelsea’s own success in the previous round. Delap was criticised by Alan Shearer after failing to convert one chance, but he did manage to assist Estevao Willian after an excellent bit of play.

The striker will be hoping to get his name on the scoresheet against Wrexham, who have bad memories from one of their recent games versus Chelsea.

Ben Chilwell, Christopher Nkunku, Conor Gallagher and Ian Maatsen all scored in Wrexham friendly
It was only a friendly so not too much damage was done, but Wrexham lost 5-0 to Chelsea in a 2023 pre-season game.
Ben Chilwell, Christopher Nkunku, Conor Gallagher and Ian Maatsen all managed to get their names on the scoresheet that day.
Maatsen grabbed a brace, but Phil Parkinson will not have to worry about the Dutchman or any of the other names above.
DISCUSS: These Chelsea players should be ashamed of themselves! 😳
Chelsea's players have been called out for ignoring Hull City's young mascots…
That quartet are, of course, no longer Chelsea players. Nevertheless, Wrexham still face a monumental task.
They at least have home advantage, but that is unlikely to count for much if the likes of Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto are playing.
Neto scored a hat-trick in the FA Cup fourth round, while Palmer did the same thing in a 3-1 Premier League win against Wolverhampton Wanderers shortly before his teammate’s heroics.

Liam Rosenior likely to put out strong Chelsea team
Rosenior did not mess about in Chelsea’s victory over Hull, with Neto, Estevao, Reece James and Moises Caicedo all starting in that game.
Wrexham are not too far off Hull in the Championship table, sitting seven points behind them, and again will be playing at home.
When you consider all of that, it is very likely that Liam Rosenior will field a strong Chelsea side for the trip to the Racecourse Ground.
