Chelsea youngster Lucas Bergstrom wants to go out on loan this season.
That is according to a report from The Evening Standard.
They claim that Blues goalkeeper Lucas Bergstrom, who’s only 20, is hoping to earn himself a loan move before the summer transfer window closes.
It is understood that the Finland keeper is not yet deemed ready for first-team football at Stamford Bridge.

Bergstrom made the matchday squad on Sunday and was an unused substitute in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool in their Premier League opener.
It says a lot that a goalkeeper who’s not considered ready for the senior team was a reserve option against Liverpool.
The young goalkeeper is yet to make his competitive first-team debut for Chelsea, but he did spend the first half of last season out on loan with Peterborough United.
Hopefully, the gloveman can find a suitable loan switch in the next couple of weeks.

The Evening Standard added that Chelsea are happy going into the new season with Robert Sanchez as the No 1 goalkeeper. They do want to sign a backup keeper and have a budget of £20million.
We’re happy Sanchez will get his crack during the 2023/24 campaign to establish himself as the man with the gloves.
It’ll be interesting to see if he can be the long-term option under Mauricio Pochettino, though.
