Chelsea re-signing Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich is very unlikely.
That is according to journalist Simon Phillips.
On Si Phillips Talks Chelsea, he stated that sources had told him that they cannot see Jamal Musiala returning to Stamford Bridge and if the attacking midfielder does leave Bayern, then Manchester City will probably be his destination.

At the end of August, TheSecretScout claimed that Chelsea would love to bring Musiala back to the club.
With the 20-year-old now being one of Bayern’s best players, though, you suspect that they will be reluctant to sell him.
Jamal Musiala unlikely to return to Chelsea
Bayern not wanting to let Musiala go is not the only thing Chelsea would have to worry about.
City being in the picture for the Germany international’s signature would be a big problem for the Blues as well.
Right now, you cannot really imagine anyone snubbing the Manchester club for Chelsea.
They win the biggest trophies every year, claiming the Champions League last season as part of their treble, and have an incredible manager in Pep Guardiola at the helm.

The chance to work with him would probably be too hard for Musiala to turn down.
The Bayern star having a soft spot for his former club could help give Chelsea a slight chance. But all things considered, a return to Stamford Bridge does seem unlikely.
Like Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah, for example, Musiala will just have to go down as another one that got away for the Blues.
