One striker who Chelsea now look unlikely to sign is Juventus’ Moise Kean.
Chelsea and other Premier League clubs were offered the chance to sign Moise Kean, according to Sportslens.
However, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has reported on X that the 23-year-old is now “on the verge” of joining Atletico Madrid.
It would bring his career at Juventus to an end for a second time.
Kean left the Old Lady for Everton back in 2019 before they re-signed him permanently in a £25m deal (BBC Sport) a few years later.
Kean has made 12 appearances in Serie A this season, failing to score in any of them.

Chelsea not battling Atletico Madrid for Moise Kean
While Chelsea may have been offered the opportunity to sign Kean, they do not appear to have an interest in him and it now looks like he will be moving to Atletico.
Does Mauricio Pochettino need a new centre-forward? At this moment in time, yes. Nicolas Jackson is not with the squad right now, Christopher Nkunku is unavailable because of another injury and Armando Broja’s future at Stamford Bridge is far from certain.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Blues will listen to offers for the Albania international this week.
Is Kean the solution to Chelsea’s issues, though? Probably not. Let us not forget that the Italian really struggled during his first spell in England.
At Everton, Kean managed to score just two goals in 32 Premier League appearances, which is extremely underwhelming.
The Italy international is a bit older now and a good loan spell at Paris Saint-Germain shows that he is not a terrible forward who cannot play at a high level. However, Kean has not done enough for Chelsea to go out and make him a priority target during this transfer window.
