Brentford striker Ivan Toney is starting to emerge as Chelsea’s top target.
That is according to a report from TEAMtalk.
It claims that Ivan Toney is likely to become Chelsea’s primary target for the No.9 position and that the 27-year-old wants to leave Brentford.
The Bees seem prepared to do business but only at the right price.

The Evening Standard recently claimed that Brentford could demand up to £80m for their talisman.
Toney has been such a key player for Thomas Frank’s side, helping them to win promotion to the Premier League and remain there.
Chelsea’s top target
It would be understandable if Chelsea made Toney their No.1 target in January or next summer.
The Blues need a new striker and the England international has quickly become one of the best in the Premier League.
Last season, he scored 20 goals in 33 appearances as Brentford went on to finish in ninth and above their west London rivals Chelsea.

This term, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have really struggled in attack. They have netted just five times in six top-flight games, which is why they could do with another centre-forward. And looking at how Toney has performed recently, he could be perfect for them.
It also means that they are unlikely to get a free run at the Brentford man. But when you look at all the top teams in the Premier League, there is no doubt that Chelsea need him the most. So if he is the No.9 that they really want, then the club have to do everything they can to secure his signature.
