AC Milan could yet make a move to sign Chelsea youngster Mason Burstow on today’s transfer deadline day.
That is according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Sky Sports Italy journalist reported last night that there’s a chance Italian giants AC Milan could turn their attention towards Mason Burstow.
If the Serie A club fail to sign Porto striker Mehdi Taremi, Chelsea’s young centre-forward is named as an alternative option in attack.
Di Marzio claimed on X: “If it were not possible to close for Mehdi Taremi, AC Milan would also evaluate Mason Burstow.”

We would be stunned to see Burstow playing his football at the San Siro this season, but the speculation is he could end up at Milan by the end of tonight.
The 20-year-old Englishman is a highly-rated forward that impressed with Chelsea in pre-season. He’s played in three of the opening four games under Mauricio Pochettino this campaign, too.
In our view, Burstow’s best move would be a loan one to a club where he’s guaranteed regular minutes, something which could be a struggle in Milan.
Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja should be the top two in the striker pecking order at Stamford Bridge, but we’re excited about Burstow’s future.

The Evening Standard claimed this week that Pochettino is considering keeping Burstow in the Chelsea ranks this season.
We’ll know in less than 24 hours where the centre-forward will play in the months ahead.
